The aim of the internship: is to support HAART, in both its internal and external communication on the impact of her programmes, within the office while streamlining information flow to the broader population of HAART’s areas of intervention.
HAART Kenya works with both local partners and international partners to achieve its objectives. At the local level HAART works with the government, local CBOs and organizations that mainly work on child protection, migration and gender based violence. HAART has partnerships with organizations like The Salvation Army Kenya, Trace Kenya, Terres des Hommes, International Organization for Migration and many others. HAART is one of the founding organizations of a network that focuses exclusively on human trafficking. Most of their funding comes from several donors mainly Catholic Donors. HAART also has a team of grass root mobilizers that assist with awareness and identification of victims of trafficking. HAART’s model of victims’ assistance was designed to provide holistic care to victims of trafficking (https://haartkenya.org/).
